Goku and Earth’s Special Forces currently share one thing – a lack of time. The latter group keeps suffering from Nappa for that. Nappa is about to eliminate Gohan, but a split-second action from Piccolo trades his life for his young friend’s. Unfortunately, this sacrifice also dooms Kami and destroys the Dragon Balls. Meanwhile, Nappa turns his attention to the defenseless Krillin and Gohan. Just in the nick of time, however, Goku finally arrives.
